our scotland local correspondent david henderson has the story. the bute house agreement lasted less than 1,000 days, but it brought green ministers into government for the first time anywhere in the uk — and with them came a raft of green policies. so what do voters think now they're gone? i think it's sad because i think the greens are a good influence on the snp, but i guess we've had a minority government before, so i guess it's going to happen again. yeah, like, ivote green most of the time. but, yeah, it hasn't been brilliant. for months, this power—sharing deal was under pressure, with key plans like the deposit return scheme stalled, then ditched. chanting: trans rights! the final straw, a row over the pause on the prescription of puberty blockers for under—18s, and the scrapping of climate targets. so now the deal*s collapsed, there's pressure on humza yousaf to change direction. but the balance of power at holyrood means it's not that simple. with the greens backing that no—confidence vote, the alba party's sole msp is crucial

some splashes of rain possible for the far north of scotland, but otherwise it's dry. the highest temperatures likely in northern ireland. we could see a 17 here in the very warmest spots. for sunday, generally, there's going to be a bit more cloud across parts of scotland, thick enough for some splashes of light rain, fleeting rain, really, a few showers coming in across east anglia and south—east england, where we'll continue to have quite a chilly wind. could be even warmer for northern ireland — if we were to get 19, well, that would be northern ireland's highest temperature of the year. so we'll be monitoring that carefully through the weekend. 0n into next week, high pressure stays to the west of the uk, and we continue to see this feed of cloud coming down the north sea. if anything, the cloud getting a bit more extensive, a bit thicker, and that means there's more likelihood of seeing some patches of drizzle across northern and eastern scotland and some eastern areas of england as well. the best of the sunshine, probably parts of north west england, wales,

it should turn drier and brighter with some sunshine in northern scotland. it may stay dry in northern ireland, but we*ve got more cloud around on monday. there is still some semblance of some warmer air in western scotland and northern ireland, but it*s pretty cold elsewhere, particularly so across the south east of england after a chilly night and that cloud then coming in over the top and that cloud continues to push its way southwards together with those weather fronts and with the high out towards the west, we*re left with a northerly breeze again on tuesday. still a bit of patchy light rain or drizzle to clear in the south. otherwise that northerly wind will bring a lot of cloud to eastern areas and maybe the odd shower near the coast. but out to the west, this is where we*ve got the best of the sunshine. and those temperatures getting up to 13, maybe 1a degrees, but particularly cold across the eastern side of the uk, 8 to ten celsius here. now, when is it going to warm up? well, no time soon. it looks like through the rest of the week weï
